Considering those needs, 15" rims and 37" Super Swampers or something else designed around off-roading would be an utterly ridiculous choice. So in the end I feel like I've built the best of both worlds, at least where my needs are concerned. 22s are a terrible platform a vehicle that sees tons of off-road time, but I feel like with the lift, tires and a winch, whatever I want to do in my JK it'll handle it. While 99% of the time it will see daily driving on the road, being on the forums really made me want to explore everything the JK was good at. As it turns out, I really had no idea what I was getting into. ![]() When I bought the JK I truly had no interest in off-roading and simply wanted a fun, good looking, capable 4wd vehicle. The 400h while a great vehicle, in 3 years I knew they'd change the design and I'd have a vehicle that looked dated. The H2 at least in the DC area has been done to death and is really impractical for parking. Ultimately, I went with the JK because I liked the options it had (hardtop, soft, no top, etc). In my search, I narrowed it down to 3 fairly different vehicles the H2, Lexus 400h and the JK Unlimited. When I first started looking for a new vehicle I wanted an SUV.
